What I Did

I used foreground (red)/ background (blue) gradient with 5 repeats. Then used Fur, Wave, and Rotating Mirror effects on it.

What I Did

I deviated from tutorial a bit to try to somewhat copy a wall hanging I’d always admired in a restaurant. It was a gorgeous macramé hanging with a water falls.

Gradient: Foreground - green, Background - med. Blue, Angle- 336, Repeats - 0
Added (on separate layers) tubes of river rock, rainbow, cloud.
On cloud I increased brightness to get almost pure white.
On Rainbow I decreased brightness to get darker colors.
On River rock I added Texture>Texture>#5
Merged visible layers. and applied Texture>Texture>#5 to all
On new layer using rope tube I did Falls... then used enhance, edge, colorize and Brightness/Contrast on it to get white.
Using freehand selection selected horizontal portion and applied Texture>Texture>#5 leaving vertical portion without texture.
Followed tutorial for fringe (with exception of doing white fringe under waterfall) and the rest of tutorial. I debated on adding bird and feathers and decided in the interest of following tut I would.
